Cotton Seed Distributors Ltd. (CSD) has appointed Ahmer Parvez into the company’s newly created role of Senior Operations Lead. 
In announcing the appointment, Chief Financial Officer, Kelly Christianson said, “We are very excited to have Ahmer on board, he brings extensive experience in the management of Manufacturing, Engineering, Projects & Maintenance”.
Ahmer joins CSD’s Operations Team, who are integral in delivering high-quality cotton seed to the industry. As Senior Operations Lead, Ahmer will be focusing on improving the efficiency of CSD’s operations and maintenance function. 
Amher is a Mechanical Engineer and has extensive experience in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance methodologies.
“Ahmer will be a great resource to ensure we continue to run a best practice operation at CSD, to meet the needs of the growing Australian cotton industry in a safe and efficient manner”. 
CSD’s Strategic Plan covers six strategic focus areas with the vision of ‘Growing the Australian cotton crop through innovative solutions beyond seed’. The appointment of Ahmer will assist in achieving one of these key focus areas: managing the business well. 
Ahmer Parvez commenced as Senior Operations Lead on 18 July, 2022.
