Recent wet weather has been a welcome sight for many across the cotton growing regions.

CSD is responding to the rapid increase in orders this week, with approximately 1000 MT of new orders coming into our system. The team are working hard to ensure that cotton seed is available so that growers can take advantage of the current planting opportunities.

Fulfilling orders of the quantum that we have received across the industry requires a number of days to treat the varieties that growers request and also apply the specific seed treatments that growers require for their circumstances. Additionally, CSD needs to commence quality assurance analysis on each AusLot once the seed has been treated to enable growers to understand the likely field performance of the Auslots post treating.

We understand that you are seeking certainty of supply. CSD has more than sufficient quantities of seed to meet industry demand.

The CSD team are working through the weekend to ensure that seed lots are treated and we can meet current orders within a timely fashion. Our expectation is that the majority of orders will be filled by Tuesday 3 November, with additional orders being filled soon after this date.

Please contact the CSD Customer Service team to confirm seed availability timelines. Where possible we will work with Agents/growers to ensure timely delivery of seed.
