Fabricator

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our maintenance and engineering team. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing metal components for plant structures, equipment, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings

· Cut, weld, shape, and assemble structural and sheet metal components

· Fabricate and install frames, supports, and plant equipment

· Modify and repair existing metal structures and equipment

· Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards

Technical Agronomist – Central Queensland – Remote

We are seeking a dedicated Agronomist to join our team in Central Queensland. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability in our region.

Reporting to the Technical Agronomist Lead, the role involves delivering variety trials with high scientific rigour, to ensure ability to communicate their performance, fit and specific management requirements to optimise yield and quality.

Key responsibilities associated with this role include:

· Integrity of scientifically sound trial data

· Interpretation of complex datasets, identifying trends and drawing conclusions

· Ensuring precision in gathering, recording and managing data

· Operation of field and analytical equipment

· Communication of technical information through reports, presentations and briefings, tailored to the audience

 

To enable you to be fully effective in the role you will be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle (which includes some personal use), phone, computer, and iPad.

The role is home office based in Central Queensland, with regular travel within the region.

Commercial Agronomist (Southern NSW)

CSD is looking for a Commercial Agronomist to join our Sales and Marketing team, based in the Southern NSW region.

This role has been created following an internal promotion and is a great opportunity for someone with a strong agronomy, rural sales, extension or commercial agriculture background to help support cotton growers, consultants and industry partners across NSW.

The role will focus on building strong relationships with growers, supporting the adoption of CSD varieties and technologies, contributing to local field days and industry events, and helping growers get the best out of their cotton production systems.

We’re looking for someone practical, self-motivated and comfortable in the paddock, with a preferred 5+ years’ experience in agronomy, rural sales and marketing, or a similar agricultural role.
