Western Riverina agronomy and business management company, Terra Ag, has been awarded the inaugural Cotton Seed Distributors Agent of the Year Award for the 2018-19 cotton season.
The award recognises outstanding service and support to Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD) and the Australian cotton industry.
CSD’s Marketing and Extension Lead, James Quinn congratulated Terra Ag on their award.
“Terra Ag have proven themselves to be an exemplary agent for CSD, facilitating the sale of our seed and supporting us through our marketing and extension programs to provide information and support to the Australian cotton industry,” he said.
“This helps us to develop closer relationships and better communication with our cotton grower customers, supporting them to produce high yielding, high quality cotton crops.”
Terra Ag’s Principal and Senior Agronomist, Mark Zanetta said his team was honoured to receive the CSD Agent of the Year Award.
“This award is a recognition of our staff’s commitment to cotton growing in the Western Riverina,” said Mark.
“The Terra Ag team have had a long-lasting and close relationship with CSD in the Southern Valley. Both our businesses are squarely focused on delivering a better cotton growing experience to our valued customers”.
Based in Griffith, Terra Ag provides agronomy, real estate, financial and water trading services to broad acre irrigation, viticulture and dryland growers in the Western Riverina region of NSW. They are also suppliers of agricultural chemicals, fertilisers, fuels and lubricants, seed and animal health products.
