A tough season in this trial but started off well with good establishment and good plant growth until January when it started to get hot. Good retention and low insect pressure meant for good boll numbers, but the trial was two waters short which impacted on yield. Micronaire was just on penalty range but the rest of the quality was good considering the hot season.
Sicot 748B3F and Sicot 714B3F performed the best in the trial but Sicot 746B3F performed the worst under the regime of hot weather and 2 waters short.
