This crop was well established watered up with the drip and looked good upuntil the heat in early January where it suffered. Fruit abortion and cavitiation was evident but yields were good considering the water regime on 3/4 water and 5 megs/ha. The Sicot 748B3F as expected performed well under these conditions. Under the full irriagtion regime the Sicot 746B3F has performed well under drip irrigation.

This trial was sown solid on drip tape and was given around 3/4 the water of the full irrigation fields. It used around 5 megalitres/ha for the season. The result was relatively pleasing considering the cold start and heat and insects that attacked the crop well into January.
