Setting the crop up - early season

Once the cotton plant is established, the main focus should be on how the plant looks and grows through the early vegetative phase and into first flower.

At first flower, the aim is to have a healthy, actively growing plant which has the desired architecture, framework and leaf area to develop a boll load.
