Micronaire Implications

The temperatures experienced this cotton season have been above average, creating a challenging environment for growing cotton crops. High temperatures during the boll filling period can lead the cotton plant to high carbohydrate production and as a consequence, higher than average micrionaire. There are other factors as well this season which will have significant impact on the final micronaire of the crop.
